A little about us
Enjoy a taste of home at Sandeannie's. The owners Bernadine and Alexander Rankin have been partners in marriage for over 35 years and have 3 children, Stephen, Karen and Jeffrey. In May of 2009 they decided to become partners in business as well. They opened the doors for business on October 23rd 2009. So far all is going well.
This has been a dream of Bernadine’s most of her life; she had worrked in the industry for about 20 years and went back to school and acquired her 2 year Culinary Arts Diploma from NSCC. Then in December 2006 she acquired her Red Seal certification. Alexander retired from NSPI in November 2008 after a career of 35 years with the company. They work well together, Bernadine running the back of the house (kitchen & Bakery) while Alexander runs the front of the house,(waiter, cash, customer service) Alexander’s many years of experience in customer service for NSPI was a great asset for working with the public.
